Steps to Admitting Yourself Into Addiction Treatment At Grace Land Recovery Center

Admitting yourself into addiction treatment is a process. But we want to make the rehab admissions journey as easy as possible for you! So, here are some steps we recommend that you take:

1. Receive Clinical and Mental Evaluations

The first step to rehab admissions here at Grace Land Recovery Center is to receive professional clinical and mental evaluations. Professional clinical and mental evaluations will confirm what addiction and/or mental illness that you’re suffering from. They will also determine what you need treatment for. That way, you won’t waste your time participating in an addiction treatment program that isn’t right for you.

To receive a clinical evaluation, you can go to your regular physician or consult an addiction treatment specialist. For a mental evaluation, you should consult both your regular physician and a professional therapist or psychiatrist. After your evaluations are complete, you can move on to the next step of the rehab admissions process.

2. Consult with Medical and Addiction Treatment Professionals to Determine the Best Treatment Program for You

It’s important to get advice on what addiction treatment program you should enter. Seeking medical and professional guidance will help you to know if you need to attend a dual diagnosis treatment program or a standard addiction treatment program. You’ll also be able to find out what type of standard or dual diagnosis addiction treatment program you should enter.
